Together

Small groups

Several small groups meet on weekday evenings in homes in Karori and other Wellington western suburbs to encourage each other to grow in faith.

There’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to our small groups – each group is different because they are shaped by the people in them. Examples are young adults’ groups and social events and women’s prayer groups.

It’s a great way to make new friends.

Serving

Music and sound teams, hospitality, pastoral care, venue maintenance, and children and youth programmes are just some of the ways for volunteering to serve in the life and ministries of our church community.

Community connections

Community connections with the wider community that we are part of are important to us.

As a church we regularly contribute to the Karori Food Bank and are involved in its oversight.

We also have local and regional church connections with other churches in Karori and with Baptist churches in the Wellington region.

Global connections

Our mission partners

We support God’s work in every corner of the world. When Ross and Cindy Meyer sensed a calling to go to live in Bangladesh in 2006 we supported them, and we still do! They went to live in Bangladesh, for Arotahi (Baptist Missionary Society), where they built schools, trained teachers, and have become well-respected experts in best-practice teaching and learning methods.

Find out more about what they do here:

Bangladesh Vision where you can also sign up for regular updates from them.
